The capture of background details is practically non-existent, similar to the classic GZDoom one. The sound feels a tiny bit like doom, but not really. This soundfont is good, but not for doom. The details are also pretty weak in this font.
It doesn't sound too good in terms of audio quality, but it does fit the game well. I prefer Arachno, just because it feels similar to the original doom.
The soundfont is the one of the best for doom, but only if what you're looking for is a more analog sound, rather than retro, grittier sound. The soundfont is pretty good, and decent in all categories, but doesn't quite beat some others. The details are also a pretty weak point in the font. I'm not sure what is wrong, but it's just off in my opinion. The soundfont is good sounding, but doesn't feel right. It sounds great, it feels like doom should, and smaller details are easy to hear. This soundfont is extremely good in all ways. This soundfont is good in terms of audio quality, but it feels nothing like doom, and it is hard to hear some sounds that are not the main melody, even if they add loads to the song. They are as follows: Arachno, MuseScore, Aegean Symphonic Orchestra, Salamander C5, General User GS, FluidR3 GM, SC-55, Balanced GM, and finally, the classic GZDoom soundfont. I install fluidsynth, as it is what GZDoom uses, and got 12 soundfonts. I have recently been interested in the best soundfont for doom.
